Bard Graduate Center’s Open House for Seniors engages older adult learners in deepening their knowledge of decorative arts, design history, and material culture. Throughout the day on Monday, March 5, complimentary private exhibition tours of The Codex and Crafts in Late Antiquity and Fabricating Power with Balinese Textiles are offered by our knowledgeable alumni and graduate student gallery educators. Visitors will leave with an enhanced appreciation of the material world and its complex cultural history. Join us in our intimate first floor lounge before and after for coffee, tea, and conversation.
