The Bard Travel Program is a faculty-led, international study trip that takes place at the end of the first year of the MA program. This BGC-funded trip has taken students to a wide range of international destinations. Most recently, students have gone to Paris, where BGC partners with the Ecole du Louvre for a week’s worth of collections and site visits as well as seminars, and then on to Greece, where students participate in excavation work on an archaeological site in the Cyclades. This trip forms a fascinating capstone to the first year of object study.
